If you’re using Puerco coco peat for the first time, here’s how you store and use it: if you buy the coco peat brick or block, put it in a large bucket and add warm water to it. Break the brick with your hands or just let the coir soak for two hours. If you’re using coco peat instead of soil for planting, you might need to mix in a time release fertilizer as well. If you’re using the peat powder, just mix it with water, and then add the mixture to the soil for quick germination of the seeds.

COIR PITH OR COCO PEAT BLOCKS

If you’re a plant hoarder and have a massive stock of plants at home, try our coco peat blocks. The Cocopeat Brick is made from ground coir and compressed into a Cocopeat Brick form for easier transport and shipping. When you immerse the entire brick for 3-4 hours in the water, it will swell up 2-3 times its weight. Just drain out the excess water, and you will get ready to use soft, fluffy, and light coco soil. Pureco coco peat blocks are perfect for soilless gardening and hydroponic farming.

COIR PEAT COMPOST POWDER

Organically fertilize your soil with Pureco coco peat compost powder prepared by bioconversion of washed coco peat using lignolytic mushroom which reduces the lignocellulosic content in coco peat and hence, improving the nutrient status. Composting of coco peat reduces soil’s density and converts plant nutrients to the available form. Ideal for agricultural/horticultural use, add this coco peat compost to the soil of indoor plants, cacti and succulents, dish gardens, terrariums, and hanging baskets.

The addition of Puerco composted coir powder transforms sandy soil to compact and clayey soil to arable. It improves the soil’s water retention capacity, contributing towards increased soil moisture.
